Inverted poses, where your head is below your heart, are considered to be among the most powerful poses for daily practice due to their profound effect on your body's physical and emotional health. A strong inversion practice will also teach you how to pull to the center of yourself in order to feel balanced and confident both on and off the mat.
This 2-hour workshop is designed for students who are looking to build strength and confidence in their inversion practice - specifically focusing on learning the basics of Sirsasana (headstand) and Sarvangasana (shoulder stand).
No current practice of inversions is needed to participate as we'll be building these poses from the ground up in order to create a safe and stable foundation. If you regularly practice these poses, look forward to refining your practice and taking it to the next level with a few creative and surprising transitions.
